The School of Language, Culture, and Society at Oregon State University is seeking a full-time (fixed-term) instructor in Ethnic Studies beginning September 16, 2025. This is a full-time (1.00 FTE), 9-month, faculty position. The successful candidate will teach undergraduate students both on the Corvallis campus and virtually via Ecampus and participate in University and professional service. The successful candidate must show evidence of effective teaching online and/or in the classroom. Specialization is open but we are particularly interested in course coverage of our current Ecampus offerings and their on-campus equivalents. Teaching specialization and experience highly desired in Ethnic Studies 101 (Introduction to Ethnic Studies) and Ethnic Studies 201 (Inventing Ethnic America) and other core courses in our general education offerings. An MA in Ethnic Studies or closely related field is required.
